RBC Dexia Names Executive As Part Of Asia Push

RBC Dexia Investor Services, the Luxembourg-listed holding company, has named Eric Chua as director of business development in Singapore, as part of the firm's ongoing expansion in Asia.

Chua will report to Diana Senanayake, managing director of RBC Dexia Investor Services in Singapore. Senanayake said in a statement that the appointment will help the company continue its “aggressive pursuit of growth in the Asian market”. 

Chua joins RBC Dexia from Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication, where he held several senior sales positions, most recently as director of securities markets for Asia Pacific. Before SWIFT, he was vice president of securities processing service for the Bank of New York. 

Last month, RBC Dexia hired Noelle Tan as director of relationship management, also based in Singapore, and in June Alessandro Silvestro was named director of business development for Asia, based in the Hong Kong office. Besides Singapore and Hong Kong, the firm has offices in Malaysia and Australia in the region.
